What is reverse DNS?

Why is geolocation sometimes unavailable?

Some IP addresses (especially private or reserved ranges) do not have geolocation data. IPv6 geolocation is also less comprehensive.

How accurate is IP geolocation?

IP geolocation is accurate to the city level in most cases, but is not precise enough for street-level location. It relies on ISP-reported data.
