Backup & DR
Backups that survive the worst
From daily snapshots included with every plan to full disaster recovery with automated failover. Tested, encrypted and off-site — because a backup is only as good as its last restore.
- Daily backups included
- Off-site replication
- 90-day retention
- Automated failover

How backups work
Backup architecture, explained
Local for speed, off-site for safety, encrypted for privacy, tested for certainty.
Local snapshots
Daily snapshots stored on the same cluster for fast, minute-level restores. Ideal for accidental deletions and bad updates.
Off-site replication
Backups replicated to a separate data centre so a hardware failure or site-level event does not take your backups with it.
Encrypted at rest
Backup data is encrypted with keys you control. Even our infrastructure team cannot read your backup contents without your key.
Incremental forever
After the first full backup, only changes are transferred. Efficient on bandwidth and storage — and fast to restore.
Retention schedules
7, 30 or 90-day retention depending on your plan. Granular restores from any point within the retention window.
Integrity checks
Every backup is verified for corruption after write. A backup that fails verification is flagged and re-taken immediately.
Restore testing
A backup is only as good as its last restore
Untested backups fail at the worst moment. We test ours so yours work when you need them.
Scheduled restore tests
We periodically restore a random backup to an isolated environment and verify it boots. A backup you have never tested is a hope, not a plan.
One-click restore
Restore any file, database or full account from the portal with a single click. No support ticket required for standard restores.
Point-in-time recovery
Restore to any moment within your retention window — not just the latest backup. Useful for undoing a bad change from yesterday.
RTO & RPO targets
Recovery Time Objective and Recovery Point Objective are documented per plan. You know how fast you will be back and how much data you might lose.
Disaster recovery
When backups are not enough
For mission-critical workloads, DR adds full environment replication and automated failover — so an outage becomes a blip, not a crisis.
Full environment replication
Your entire hosting environment — sites, databases, email, configurations — replicated to a standby site ready for failover.
Automated failover
When the primary site fails, traffic routes to the standby automatically. Your users see a brief blip, not a multi-hour outage.
Disaster recovery plan
A documented, tested DR plan with roles, runbooks and contact trees. When the worst happens, recovery is a procedure, not a scramble.
Regular DR drills
We run scheduled failover tests to ensure the DR plan works. A plan that has never been tested is a risk, not a safety net.
