Scope boundaries
What is included — and what is not
Clear boundaries mean no surprises. Here is exactly where care ends and a project begins.
Content changes vs redesign
Business Care and Managed Web include agreed content changes — text swaps, image updates, page additions. A full redesign or new feature build is scoped separately and quoted as a project.
Plugin licensing
Premium plugins and themes require their own licences. We apply updates and manage compatibility, but licence costs are billed to you and remain yours.
Pre-update backups
Before any update is applied we take a snapshot. If something breaks, we roll back to the pre-update state — no guessing, no prolonged downtime.
Rollback
When an update causes a conflict, rollback is the first action — not a last resort. We restore the working version and investigate the conflict off-line.
Remediation escalation
If a security issue or breakage exceeds the care plan scope, we escalate to a remediation engagement. You are notified with a clear scope and quote before any billable work begins.
Scope transparency
Every care plan lists exactly what is included. If a task falls outside that list, we tell you before starting — never silently expanding scope or invoicing.

Updates happen on schedule
Core, plugin and theme updates are applied on a set cadence — not when you remember. Stale software is the most common cause of compromise.
Backups are checked, not assumed
A backup that has never been restored is a hope, not a plan. We verify backups regularly so a restore works when you need it.
